Abingdon County Hall Museum

 

Museum-related events:

• 20 April 2013, 7.30pm: Spring Concert - Wantage Male Voice Choir, St Helen's Church, Abingdon. Organized by the Museum Friends. Tickets £10 (£8 concessions), including a drink, in aid of the museum. Matched funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
• 24 April 2013, 7.00pm: From Gough to Google, a talk by John Leighfield, Roysse Room, Abingdon Guildhall. Free admission, tickets available from Abingdon Museum reception desk. Historic maps for sale in aid of the museum.

Abingdon County Hall Museum was officially reopened following the completion of the Heritage Lottery funded refurbishment of the Grade I Listed building by H.R.H. The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO on 8th March 2013.

From 29 March 2013 to 31 October 2013, the museum roof will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am - 3.30pm, weather permitting. When open, entry to the roof is £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and children over six years old. We regret that under 5's are not allowed on the roof.
